At 47 inches, Elisabeth remains in the 95th percentile for height. We continue to hear a lot of "she's so TALL!" comments, followed closely by, "How tall is her dad?!" once people size up my 5'2" height and realize that she clearly didn't inherit her tallness from me. She also remains at the top of the scale for weight, coming in at 51.2 pounds (90th percentile). She needed one shot yesterday, a finger prick to test her iron levels, a hearing test, and a vision test. She's ready for kindergarten this fall!
Allison is officially off the charts for height! She measured at 38.5 inches (>97th percentile). Like her sister, she's a very healthy weight, tipping the scales at 34 pounds, 12 ounces (95-97th percentile). She needed two shots and a toe poke to test her iron levels.
Having both girls get shots on the same day was...interesting. I don't think I'll schedule same-day shots for them again! :)Colorado is very dry (but on the plus side, there is very little humidity here!), and both girls are reacting to the climate change. Allison has her first-ever eczema flare-up, so we're going to have to make a few adjustments to get that under control. Other than the skin sensitivities, we're happy that both girls are very healthy!
