Play Ball!

Softball season is in full swing here in Colorado.  The Angry Birds played their first game last night -- #3 played awesome!  She went up to bat 3 times and had 3 strong hits -- no striking out or getting tagged out at 1st base!  They tied 9-9 -- although Elisabeth was on 3rd and ready to run home for the tie-breaking run...if only the last girl up to bat hadn't struck out!  Oh well, next week we'll get a "W"!

Elisabeth's first hit -- see the yellow ball at the top of the photo??  Perfect hit straight down the line!

Another great hit -- you can see the ball on the ground in the center of the photo on the right (in front of Fred, who was serving as 3rd base coach).  Great job, Elisabeth!

No pictures of our little Ladybug (Allison) yet, but we'll get some!  I heard she hit the ball backwards at her first practice/game last weekend, so I'm sure this will be a memorable season for her, as well!
