Hot and Cold

We've had some amazing weather lately.  On Sunday, we were outside all afternoon soaking up the sun and 80-degree warmth.  The girls made a huge hopscotch course in the back alley...

  ...and also designed their dream bedroom out of chalk, complete with bunk beds.  Here is Allison reading on the top bunk, while Elisabeth takes a snooze on the bottom bunk:

Monday was equally beautiful -- very warm and sunny.  Tuesday is when the temperatures started dropping.  That's also when the metro Denver area started to panic because *gasp* SNOW was on the way! Sure enough, we woke up to COLD temperatures today and white stuff everywhere.  We never got the 8-10 inches of snow that was predicted, but there was plenty of fluffy stuff to play in.

Although we're NOT ready for winter, we're enjoying the snow while it lasts.  Tomorrow it's supposed to be sunny and 50 again, and the snow will melt away as quickly as it came.
