Uniform Dry Run

School starts in 3 weeks, and that means we have 3 weeks left to get Allison on board with her school's uniform policy!  This is going to be interesting, to say the least!  We've started back-to-school shopping; Elisabeth has gotten a bunch of cute and colorful things while poor Allison has been limited to red, white, and blue.  

So far, she will NOT wear a collared shirt under her jumper which is required (but, again, we have 3 weeks to change that!) and she also refuses to wear socks (another requirement).  She was willing to put a pair of blue tights on for our uniform dry run this morning, but we'll see how long that lasts!  

I was so terribly disappointed to discover that Sebago apparently doesn't make navy blue Docksides for kids anymore (they don't make kids' shoes at all anymore!).  Since I wore this exact same Hamilton plaid during my school years, I was hoping to recreate one of my favorite childhood memories:  getting some new navy blue Docksides to match the uniform.  Oh well, the cute navy shoes we found will have to suffice!
