A few months ago, FLEA climbed Mount Baldy in Saugatuck. This week, the girls and I went to Holland to visit Grandma and Grandpa H. and we got a nice workout climbing Mount Pisgah!
Mount Pisgah is the big sand dune right across the street from Grandma and Grandpa's condo that overlooks both Lake Michigan and Lake Macatawa. We used to be able to climb right up the bare dune. This past summer, Mt. Pisgah was closed while a dune preservation project installed a network of trails, stairs, boardwalks and overlooks designed to contain people to specific areas and protect the dune's fragile environment. Mount Pisgah just re-opened earlier this month, and we were very impressed with the new stairs. And of course, the 360-degree views at the top just can't be beat.

This last picture makes me laugh. I was all set to take a nice picture of the girls with their grandparents, when Allison decided to dive out of Grandpa's arms at the last minute. You can tell by the look on Grandpa's face that he wasn't expecting such an unpredictable move by our little stuntwoman!

Good catch Grandpa H. Elisabeth is really getting good at taking picture's. Looks like a great afternoon climbing Mt. Pisgah.
I'm catching up...love the invisble sign. I wish Syd wanted to be invisible, instead she usually still wants to climb back in the womb. Also love the tailgate pictures from last week...scary but I IMMEDIATELY spotted Sue and Steve! Love the fall color! As for booing...we got booed, then booed two neighbors, and both ripped the signs down and did not participate. We have serious duds around us.
