Busy!

Things just got a little busier for FLEA. For the 2nd consecutive year, we signed Elisabeth up for swimming lessons; the first lesson was today. She's never been very comfortable around water (she doesn't even like getting water on her face in the bath tub), so we are hoping that the lessons will give her the skills to feel more comfortable and confident around water. I'm proud to report that Elisabeth did great in the pool today! She even went underwater (accidentally) twice; when the teacher asked if she was OK after she came back up sputtering and coughing, she actually replied, "That was fun!"

Elisabeth starts soccer lessons next week in addition to her weekly swimming lessons, so in just a few days things will really be busy for us!

Allison may not be signed up for any classes like her big sister, but she manages to keep us plenty busy. Her favorite phrases nowadays are, "Mine, mine, mine, MINE!" and "No, no, no, no!" She figured out how to open the pantry door, so I have to make sure everything is safely out of reach unless I want it to get dumped on the kitchen floor. She loves going for bike rides; she will pat her head and say "hat" every time we come home and she sees her bike helmet in the garage. She got new shoes last week (her old ones were 2 sizes too small -- oops!) and she loves them so much that she throws a major fit anytime she has to take them off. She loves to lift our shirts up and give all of us raspberries on our bare bellies which makes us laugh so hard, and she has so much fun playing on the playset.
