As usual, FLEA had a busy but fun-filled weekend. We kicked things off in Livonia, where Fred and the girls dropped me off at a baby shower for one of my good friends from MSU. I hung out at the shower while Fred took the girls to lunch and then went on a shopping spree. They bought a new bike trailer and new bike helmet for Allison...they almost didn't have room left in the car for me when they came back to pick me up!
From Livonia, we headed up to Grandma M's cottage in Gaylord for the rest of the weekend and enjoyed our time up there.
FLEA can finally enjoy bike rides as a family, thanks to the new trailer. Hopefully Allison will enjoy biking as much as we all do. Here are the girls buckled into the trailer for the maiden voyage (Allison was just happy that she got to bring her snack):

Elisabeth really enjoyed helping Daddy put Grandma's boat in the water, staying up late, and riding her bike all over. She is very excited to learn to ride without training wheels this summer. She's quickly outgrowing her current bike; Daddy promised her a shiny new bike once she learns to ride without training wheels!
Allison had fun playing with all of Grandma's toys and she also enjoyed her first campfire and S'mores. 
FLEA is excited that summer is (almost) officially here!

Wow does that look like fun. I agree with Allison, that its always nice to have a snack while you enjoy the ride.
