Daisies and Brownies

Elisabeth's Daisy troop has been busy earning their final patches and wrapping up a fun year. Last month, they spent some of the money they earned selling Girl Scout cookies and had a tea party at a fancy restaurant.
Last week, they bridged over to Brownies and got their new Brownie uniforms!Today they took their first official field trip as a Brownie troop. They went to a Mexican restaurant called Casa Bonita. This place is....how do I say it....not known for it's food. Casa Bonita has a rollercoaster inside, as well as cliff divers, caves, strolling musicians, and all kinds of other random things that are meant to be entertaining. Most adults say it's the cheesiest place ever, but Elisabeth and her friends thought it was the best place in the world and had a ton of fun! (No, that's not a naked guy in the background of the picture above! That's one of the cliff divers who had just climbed out of the pool!)
This weekend they will have their final troop event for the year -- they are going to the Butterfly Pavilion to help build a garden!
