The snow brought some bitter cold, and we had a few bone-chilling days where the temps were in the single digits. Brrr!Then, in typical Colorado fashion, it got warm again and all the snow melted away. Once the snow was gone, it was time to go knock on doors and sell some Girl Scout cookies. It was so warm we didn't even need to wear coats when we went out selling cookies, and the sun was so bright it practically blinded us.
See? Snow's all gone!Allison has made some progress staying in her own bed all night. She didn't dare leave her bed on Christmas Eve, because she knew Santa was coming. (By the way, Christmas Eve was the first night since have moved to Colorado on May 31, 2009 that she slept in her own bed, by herself, ALL NIGHT LONG!) We keep reminding her that she's almost 4 years old and 4 year olds are big girls who sleep in their own beds all night. I think we've had one successful night since Christmas Eve where she stayed put all night, and one night where she almost made it through the night before she came wandering around looking for someone to snuggle with. As long as she's sleeping in her own bed, in her own room, alone, all night long, before she leaves for college, we'll be happy....
Allison was very excited that the Tooth Fairy came the other night and left $2.00 for her! I think that made up for the torture she experienced at the dentist's office getting a few baby teeth extracted... She really is doing fine now and we are looking forward to getting her new appliance installed in the next week or two and having her flash a complete smile for the first time ever!
