1st Grader Round-Up

The first day of school is right around the corner! The back-to-school open house is on the 17th, and the first day of school is August 18!

At last count, there are 18 kids from our neighborhood who will be entering 1st grade at Elisabeth's school -- the majority of them girls! (They are very few boys in our neighborhood!) Our neighbor organized a play date at the park for incoming 1st graders so all the kids could get reacquainted and/or meet new friends before school starts.

Here's Elisabeth with some of her friends -- old and new. All but one of these girls live in our neighborhood.
