The girls had so much fun playing in the Amazing Castle exhibit at the Kalamazoo Valley Museum earlier this week, that I just had to take them back, especially since the exhibit's last day was Friday. 
Allison stirred the pot in the castle kitchen...
...and then the girls enjoyed a feast together.
The exhibit includes a dragon that pops up and roars. Some of the older kids were afraid of Herald the Dragon, but Allison just couldn't get enough of him. She kept saying and signing, "More, more!"
Elisabeth snapped a few pictures with my camera at the museum. See how she does a nice job centering her subject? I tell you, the girl has photography skills.
In other news, FLEA did go to E. Lansing this weekend in spite of the rain. A little rain (I mean, a LOT of rain) didn't stop us from tailgating with some of our good friends. We had a couple of canopies to keep us dry, although the girls couldn't resist the urge to run out into the rain and splash through the puddles and mud with their friend Campbell several times. They were soaked to the bone before game time. Once noon rolled around, it was still raining cats and dogs, yet Fred and Elisabeth were determined to go to the game. It was too wet to bring the camera, so you'll have to use your imagination to picture what they looked like in their gametime rain gear: Fred resembled some guy in a haz-mat suit, while Elisabeth looked like a little blue ghost in her rain poncho. They actually stayed at the game until the 3rd quarter...how's that for being faithful Spartan fans?

You are true Spartan fans! We had a great time with you guys again this weekend and are looking forward to next weekend. Lets hope the boys in Green have another win so our boys are not cranky on the way home.
