FLEA had a wonderful Easter and we hope you did too! The Easter Bunny came to our house last night, and the girls were excited to wake up and see what he left in their baskets.
Just in case any of you might have wondered -- the Easter Bunny had much better manners than the reindeer did last Christmas, and did NOT leave a mess on our front porch! Elisabeth actually asked me yesterday if I thought the Easter Bunny might leave rabbit droppings on the porch... The Bunny behaved this year; we'll have to see what happens next year!Since everyone else is gone, Uncle Jeff drove down to Kalamazoo and we went out to brunch at the Fieldstone Grill.
Then we came back to our house and discovered that the Easter Bunny had hidden eggs for the girls to find ALL over our basement! There were over 100 eggs hidden, to be exact. (Word on the street is that the Easter Bunny thought it would be really fun to have an extravagant egg hunt outside in the backyard -- especially after the nice weather we had last week. However, the spring storm we had the other day buried our yard in snow and forced him to switch to Plan B, which meant having the hunt inside. Oh well, it was still fun!)
Elisabeth had a blast hunting for eggs...
...while Allison was more concerned about having a tea party.
