First Communion

Last Saturday, Elisabeth celebrated her First Holy Communion!  She was so happy that all of her grandparents came to Colorado for her special day.  She was also happy that her special friend Greta made her First Communion during the same Mass -- Elisabeth and Greta were the only two people making their First Communion at that particular Mass so they got lots of personalized attention.  Father Gabriel did a very nice job personalizing the experience for the girls, from taking the time to talk to them when he accepted the offertory gifts from them, talking to them during the closing announcements, and talking (and high-fiving!) with them after Mass.  Here are some pictures from the big day!
