Elisabeth ran her first cross country meet today!  The meet was very chaotic (really!  even her coach sent an email saying "I try not to be negative, but that meet was disorganized at best...) but she still did very well.  The top 8 finishers of the meet get ribbons.  One of Elisabeth's teammates finished in 7:14 and got a ribbon....Elisabeth finished in 7:18.  So close!!  We know she'll grab a ribbon at some point!

Check out these pictures -- she was so fast I could barely get her in the picture frame.  As you can see by the competitive expression on her face, Elisabeth means business!
