Opening Day

Our neighborhood pool opened today and it happened to be 80 degrees and sunny! Such a far cry from the snow storm we had last Wednesday. Yes, I said snow. The girls went to school wearing snow boots on May 12! In the last 5 days, we've had snow, tornadoes, thunderstorms, and finally hot weather. Since Colorado weather can change rapidly, we just had to take advantage of today's summer-like weather to walk up the street and check the pool out. We're quite impressed with the pool! There is a decent-sized kiddie pool that is 1-foot deep, and then a large pool that's 3-4 feet deep. We definitely plan to spend lots of time here over the next few months!Tonight's dinner consisted of pretzels and graham crackers poolside. You're only young once, right?! (Relax people, we had "real" food once we got home!)
